¿Te sucede que muchas veces vamos al culto con el cuerpo, pero no con el corazón? Llegamos tarde, nos sentamos al fondo, miramos el celular mientras se predica y luego decimos con ligereza: "No sentí nada hoy".
Pero la dolorosa verdad no es que Dios estuviera ausente o silencioso, sino que nosotros no nos dispusimos en absoluto a encontrarlo. Entramos al templo cargados de afanes y distracciones, esperando recibir un milagro automático sin haber ofrecido antes nuestra atención sincera.
El culto genuino nunca ha sido un espectáculo religioso que observamos pasivamente desde la comodidad de la apatía, sino un encuentro vivo y sagrado donde nos abrimos por completo a Dios. Si llegamos con prisa, con la mente dividida o con una profunda indiferencia, es prácticamente imposible que su Palabra toque y transforme nuestro interior.
Dios es un caballero; Él jamás se impone a la fuerza en nuestra vida; Él espera pacientemente que le hagamos un espacio real, que le prestemos atención genuina y que nos acerquemos con un espíritu de genuina humildad.
Sentir la presencia de Dios no depende de la suerte, sino de nuestro interior. Para que el culto nos transforme, debemos llegar dispuestos, sin distracciones y con el corazón abierto; porque Dios siempre está esperando que le abramos la puerta.
